The Weeks Ahead | Book Case TV | Ready4Air Is Moving | Voiceover Magic

My blog, Ready4Air, has had a great home here on Blogger for the last 20 months. It was my first blog home and will always have a special place in my heart.

But as the new television season gears up this week, Ready4Air is going on a brief hiatus because we are moving. I've been working on a new wordpress website for Deborah Mitchell Media Associates which means this blog will have new digs in a few weeks. We are excited over here! The new site will be a little fancier with a few more bells and whistles which I hope you'll enjoy.  However, my team has to make sure that all the blog posts from our old home arrive at the new place intact.  Therefore, I have to stop posting for a short while.

But before I sign off for our mini break here are a few things coming up in the weeks ahead:

Marla Kirban, Marla Kirban Voiceovers
We'll meet and get tips from voiceover maven Marla Kirban of Marla Kirban Voiceovers.  Marla is one of New York City's top voiceover coaches whose recent clients include Meg Ryan, Molly Ringwald, Deborah Messing, Harvey Keitel, Bobby Cannavale, Frank Langella, and Val Kilmer.

I first met Marla a little over a decade ago when I decided I wanted to have a career doing voiceovers. I thought it would be a good side and after TV gig. LOL! People have told me over the years that I have a nice voice so hey why not put it to work. So off I went to work with Marla.  There's more to the story stay tuned.

Next the summer series wraps up with television and social media professionals sharing their top survival tips for each industry.

Finally tonight's episode of Book Case TV with host Frederic Colier is a rerun.  When Frederic is on book duty he's known as book private investigator Frank Debonair and his investigation tonight takes him into books dealing with the food industry world. One of my favorite places!

In the episode called "Belly Of The Budda" we meet Jayson and Mira Calton, the authors of Rich Food Poor Food, as well as Ken Wheaton (Bacon and Egg Man) and Brooke Alpert (The Sugar Detox).

Jenn Risko from Shelf Awareness, a free e-newsletter about books and the book industry, discusses her website aimed at providing food for thought in Book World.

Tune in to NYC Life Channel 25 at 9:30PM EST to find out the Pick Of The Week and to get more from these amazing writers.

Now stay tuned. We'll be back in a few weeks once we settle into our new digs!
