Listen Up | We Are Tuning In To "What's Up With Wendy"

Wendy Lowy Sloane, "What's Up With Wendy"
Ready4Air is going behind-the-scenes of radio with the nationally syndicated talk show "What's Up With Wendy".  My former colleague from Geraldo's talk show, Wendy Lowy Sloane, is the host of the lively, celebrity-driven talk show coming out of its flagship station WGCH in Greenwich, CT.

"What's Up With Wendy" features a mix of celebrity interviews, news makers and local stories. The show which currently airs on Fridays at 11AM -- 12PM on Business Talk Radio Network is moving to a new time.  The show which can be heard on stations across the U.S. and the U.S. Virgin Islands will begin airing at a NEW time weekly on Fridays from 7:00PM -- 8:00PM online at Business Talk Radio Network.

Wendy just celebrated the third anniversary of her radio show where the past season guest line-up included: Andie MacDowell, Jenna Fischer, Jennie Garth, Patricia Heaton, Nia Vardalos, Howie Mandel, Colin Quinn, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, Stacy Keibler, Kate Snow, Joy Bauer, Summer Sanders, Brandi Chastain, Hope Solo, C.C. Sabathia, Mike Krzyzewski, Billie Jean King, Isaac Mizrahi and Chef Michael Symon.

Like so many of us, Wendy is no stranger to re-invention.  After making nationwide news for her in-depth shows featuring the OJ Simpson trial and the tragic death of child beauty queen Jon-Benet Ramsey, and producing Geraldo's weekly Celebrity News shows, Wendy swiftly moved on to the world of radio, obtaining a radio position in New York City and eventually landing the Executive/On-Air Producer for BIG 105 with Danny Bonaduce.

I'm looking forward to bringing you more about Wendy's life behind the radio microphone and showcasing her favorite radio interviews. Speaking of interviews, just in time for the new school season, Wendy interviewed 19-year-old Emily-Anne Rigal (@EmilyAnne_Rigal), founder of westophate.org, an anti-bullying, non-profit program dedicated to raising self esteem in teens through social media. Emily-Anne started the program at age 16 with the YouTube channel WE STOP HATE and it continues to grow.  If you are a parent or a teen who wants more information about bullying, take a few moments to listen in to Wendy's interview by clicking the link below.
